By the Calendar of the Prisoners there appeared to be

Behaviour Considd.It appearing to the Committee upon inquiry of the Steward and [..]
Servants that John Gearing< no role > had behaved with attention to his duty
and that there were no Complaints of his Conduct since the last
meeting of the Committee

Restored to his PlaceResolved that he be restored to his place of Superintendant of
the Prisoners.

Sanderson discharged
his Lodger.The Steward informed the Committee that on the 13th: August last
James Sanderson< no role > had discharged his Lodger agreeably to the order
of the Committee.

Liquor &c . introduced
into the cells of Apprs.Information having been received from the Chamberlain that
Liquor and provisions had been frequently introduced into the Cells
of the Apprentices.

They examine Beadles
thereupon.The Committee called in and examined the Beadles and gave them
the strictest injunction to guard against such abuses.
