to be more attentive.The Committee examined the Book in which an account of the Prisoners
labour is kept and finding that the labour had not been so productive as
might reasonably have been expected the superintendant was called in
and directed by the Committee to be more attentive in future which he faithfully promised.

Inmates not goneThe Steward reported that Mrs. Carter had quitted her Apartments in the
Hospital agreeably to an order of this Committee but that the Lodgers still
remained with Mr. Couling and Mr. Sanderson.
Order respecting
Couling & Sanderson.Resolved that the Clerk do give Notice to Mr. Couling and Mr.
Sanderson that unless their Lodgers quit their premises before the next
meeting of this Committee a Representation will be made to the Court of
their having refused to obey the order of the Committee.
