Christian Crock< no role > the Wife of Samuel Crock< no role > who is
now absent from her at Sea maketh oath That about Thirteen
years ago her said husband rented Part of a house in Salisbury
Lane in the Parish of St. Mary Magdalen Bermondsey in the County
of Surry at the yearly Rent of Four Pounds and was charged to
and Paid Kings Taxes for the Same to one Mr. Mason who at
that time was Collector of Such Tax there She this Deponent in
her husbands absence Paying such Taxes to him And by means
thereof as she is Advised her Said husband gained a legal Settlement
there And that to this Deponents knowledge or belief her Said
husband has not Since done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement
