mariner who is now absent from her at Sea maketh
oath that she hath been informed by her Said husband &
which information she believes to be true That her Said
husband was duly bound to & served the whole of his
apprenticeship with one John Smith< no role > in the Parish of
East Greenwich in the County of Kent waterman & that by means
thereof he gained a legal Settlement there That to this
Deponts. knowledge or belief her Said husband hath not
since done any Act to gain a settlement elsewhere And
that she hath two children namely Francis aged< no role > about
Ten years & Edmund Aged< no role > about Eight years the lawful
Issue of this Deponent by her Said husband The which
Children have done no Act to gain a settlement for themselves
