Frances Travers< no role > the widow of David Travers< no role >
deced Maketh oath That She doth not know or Can in
any manner Setforth or Discover the place of Settlement
of her late husbands Parents or either of them But this Dept.
Saith that She hath been informed by her Said late husband
(& which information She believes to be true) That he was born
in Mouse Alley in the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate
in the County of Middlesex and afterwards lived there as a hired
Servant with one Mr. Baldwin a Butcher for more than the
Space of a year and by means thereof as She is advised gained
a legal Settlement there That to this Deponts. Knowledge or
belief her Said late husband never rented a house of Ten Pounds
a year or upwards nor ever served any Parish office nor
ever paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor ever did
any Act to gain a subsequent settlement Nor hath she this
Depont. Since her Said husbands death done any Act to gain
a Settlement in her own right And that about Twenty eight
Years ago she was Married to her Said late husband at the
Fleet
