Martha Murphy< no role > the wife of Richard Murphy< no role >
maketh oath That her Said husband is lately gone
away from her to places unknown & left her destitute of
Necessaries And this Depont. Saith that divers years ago
her Said husband rented a house of the yearly Rent or
Value of Fourteen Pounds in Old Ford in the Parish
of St Mary le Bow in the County of Middlesex and Continued
in the occupation of such house for a year & upwards
& by Means thereof as this Depont. is advised gained a legal
Settlement there And this Depont. Saith that to her knowledge
or belief her Said husband hath not since rented a house
of the yearly Rent or Value of Ten Pounds nor served
any Parish office nor paid any Poors Rates or Kings
Taxes nor done any Act to gain a subsequent settlement

December 1769 before
