Mary Gould< no role > the Widow of Benjamin Gould< no role > deced
maketh oath That She Cannot in any wise Set forth or
discover Where the Parents of her late husband or either
of them was or were Settled at the times of their respective
Deaths nor where her said husbands Settlement was at his
death or during his life time But this Deponent Saith
that She has been informes by her late Father Arthur-
Joyner
< no role > deced that he was born in the Parish of Saint
Margaret Pattens in the City of London & where he
afterwards Rented a house of Eighty Pounds a year
or there abouts & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement
there which information this Depont. believes to be true
And this Depont. Cannot Set forth or discover Whether
her Said Father ever did any Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement And this Deponent farther Saith that she
was never put apprentice Nor ever lived as a hired
Servant for the Space of a year; nor ever did any act to
gain a Settlement in her own right to her knowledge or belief
