The Voluntary Examination of Susannah
Harris

Parish of Whitechappal in the Said County Singlewoman
taken on oath before me one of his Majesties
Justices of the Peace in and for the Said County
of Middlesex the 20th day of January 1769

This Examinant upon her oath Saith That upon the
Twenty third day of January one thousand Seven
hundred and Sixty eight in the Parish of Saint Botolph
without Aldgate in the Said County of Middlesex
She this Examinant was delivered of a Male Bastard
Child And that the said Bastard Child is likely to becom [..]
Chargeable to the Said Parish of St Botolph without
Aldgate And that William Harris< no role > of the Parish of
Clifton in the said City of Bristol Lime Burner did
get her with Child of the said Bastard Child which
Child hath been Since baptized & registred by the name
of James Pendergrass< no role >
