William Creed< no role > maketh oath that divers Years ago
he was hired and lived as a hired Servant by the year at
the Yearly Wages of Five Pounds with one Thomas
Deale
< no role > in New Red Cross Street in the Parish of Saint
George in Southwark in the County of Surry Broker
and Continued in such service for near the Space of Three
Years and by Means thereof as he is advised gained a
legal settlement there And this Deponent Saith that during
such his Servitude he was and still is an Unmarried Man
and that he hath not since lived as a hired servant by the
Year nor hath he ever rented a house of Ten Pounds
a year or upwards nor ever served any Parish offices
nor ever Paid any Poors Rates or kings Taxes Nor
to his knowledge or belief hath he done any Act to
gain a settlement subsequent to his servitude as above
