Catherine king< no role > the Widow of Henry King< no role > deced
Maketh oath that about eleven years ago she was
Married to her said late husband who died about fifteen
Weeks ago And that during such their intermarriage her
said husband never rented a house of Ten pounds by the
Year or upwards nor served any Parish offices nor lived
as a hired servant by the year Nor to this Depont. knowledge
or belief did any Act to Acquire a legal settlement
And this Deponent farther saith that she doth not know
Nor Can set forth where her said husband was born or
where he was last legally settled before he Married
this Deponent But this Deponent saith that she this
Deponent about twelve Years ago lived as a hired servant
by the year with Mr. Green of the Parish of Chelsea
in the County of Middx Brewer at the yearly Wages of
seven Pounds by the year and Continued in such service
for the space of one year and a quarter and by means
thereof (as this Depont. is advised) gained a legal settlemt
there And this Dept. farther saith that she hath not since
lived as a hired servant by the Year nor done any Act
to Acquire a settlement in her own right And that she
hath two Children to wit Susannah< no role > Aged about eight
Years and three quarters and Mary Ann< no role > aged about
Ten Months the lawful Issue of this Depont. by her
sd husband
