Partnership two Young Men, who were formerly Apprentices
in the Hospital, and now in his employment, we are of
Opinion, that if they should appear properly qualified,
and the Court think fit to elect them, there is no objection
to their being appointed, Artsmasters of this Hospital.

In advising the introduction of new Masters into the
House, we think it our duty to propose some Regulations
respecting their admission, their Emoluments, and their
duty and We are of Opinion;

That every Artsmaster, admitted into this Hospital,
should be a Member of the Church of England, as by
Law established, and a Freeman of the City of London.

That Candidates for the Office of Artsmaster, should
produce a Certificate of their Character, signed by Known
and responsible Persons, and also a Certificate of their
Settlement.

That the Petitions of Candidates, should be received
by the House Committee, and that the Committee should
report to the Court their Opinion of the merits of the
different Candidates, as moral Alen Men and as to their
ability as Men of Business.

That every Artsmaster be allowed a House, or
Apartments, put into substantial repair, free of Rent
and Taxes.

That every Artsmaster, do Covenant to Keep the same
in Repair at his own expence.

And we are of Opinion that the House Committee
with the Surveyor, should reqularly inspect the
Artsmasters House, once a Year, or offener.

We are of Opinion that every Artsmaster should
Covenant that he will from time to time take and receive
into his Service as Apprentices, such and so many Boys
as
