works at an inconsiderable expence & would be a great accomodation to
the Tenants of this Hospital on the subject of their complaint as well
as be avery useful resource in case of fire and the inhabitants
being willing to pay a reasonable compensation for the same if
the Governors think fit

The Committee had resolved that the Surveyor be directed to
prepare a Plan and estimate of a Reservoir for the above purpose
and lay the same before the Committee.

And that the Treasurer reported that the Committee appointed
the 1st. May last to Confer with the Commissioners of Sewers on
the Subject of the Complaint made by the Inhabitants of this
Precinct respecting the arch and Great Sewer and the Pavement
over the same had met the Commissioners of Sewers in conference
thereupon And the Commissioners of Sewers Resolved that the
defects of the pavement did not arise from the state of the
Sewer which answer had been communicated by Mr. Waddington
one of the Committee to the Inhabitants of the Precinct who had
by advice of Council taken some further steps in that business
which they hoped would produce a good effect.

And the Committee had resolved that Richd. Bather< no role > & John

Apprentice to Thos. Couling< no role > and Charles Bevan< no role > late Apprentice
to Roger Owen< no role > should be inquired after for Mr. Fowkes Gift
and Thos. Kirkham< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. late Apprentice to Edwd. Owen< no role > for Mr. Locks
Gift.

The Minutes of the Prison Committee of the 14th: Augt. last
were read and confirmed.

The Minutes of the Bethlem Committee of the 30th: Augt. the
26th: Septr: and 31st: Octr: were read whereby it appeared

That the Committee being informed by the Treasurer that
he had called them together on account of a representation from
