Patients Discharges Sick and
Weak to be taken away within
6 Days by their Securities
Kept in their respective Parish Workhouse as in the Hospital
And that when Patients are Discharged Sick and Work their
Securities Shall take them away within Six Days
No Patient to be admitted who
has been mad more than one year
between Michs. & Lady Day & when
taken in to remain only 6 Months
unless a prospect of Cure
It is the Opinion of this Committee That no Patient Shall be
Admitted who has been Mad more than one Year (from Michaelmas
to Lady Day) and when taken in to remain only Six Months unless these
be a prospect of Cure
Keys of the Officers & Servt not to
be delivered to Patients
That the Keys belonging to the Officers and Servants of the House
shall upon no Pretence whatever be Delivered to the Patients
The Committee are also of Opinion that instead of the Usual
Salaries hereto fore paid to the Officers and Servants of this Hospital
that from Midsummer next they shall have the following Sume Vizt.

of the Dutys & Salarys
This Court having duly Weighed and Considered the said Memorial Doth
Agree with the Committee in Opinion as to the Utility of the Several Rules and
regulations therein mentioned and referr it to the Weekly Committee of Bethlem
Hospital to carry the same into Execution And it is Ordered that the Report
and Memorial be entered in a Book to lye on the Table in the Committee
Room at Bethlem Hospital and that such Extracts be made from the Repair
and Memorial as the Committee shall think proper And that the same be King
up in that Committee Room And it is further Ordered that the thanks of this Court be
given to the Committee for their great Trouble Care and Attention informing and
Setting the aforesaid Rules and regulations

Yearly Rent of £60 Payable Quarterly free from all Taxes and Deductions what

had agreed
to part with his Interest there in to the said Penyston Marshall if your Worships
would Accept a Surrender of the said Lease It was Ordered that the said

should Surrender his said Lease and there upon that a New
Lease should be made to the said Penyston Marshall< no role >

Bankrupt It was Ordered the said Lease by the Order of 25th. May 1758 Directed
to be made to the said Penyston Marshall should be made to your Petitioner upon
the said Assignes paying an Arrear of Rent due from the said Penyston Market
Amounting to £60.
That your Petr. Entered upon the said Premises in Pursuance of the above
Order and hath resided therein ever since
