Continued Wednesday 24th April 1765

That Daniel Clarke< no role > of the Parish of Stepney in the County of Middx
Gent having Contracted and agreed with Your Petitioner for the Absolute
Purchase of the said Premises in said Indenture of Lease Demised for the
Remainder of the said Term of 26 Years now to come for the Sum of £1114

Your Petr. therefore humbly Prays Your Worships that he may be at
Liberty to Assign over the said Indenture of Lease for the Remainder of the
said Term of 26 Years to the said Daniel Clarke< no role > Under and Subject to the
Rents Covenants and Provisoes in the said Indenture of Lease contained Your
Petitioner hereby Submitting to have a Schedule of the several Locks Keys
Doors Bolts Kinges, Glass Glass Windows Chimney Pieces Wainscots and
Partions and all other Fixes and Improvements now set up fixed or fastned
to the said Demised Premises taken and specified at the Foot of such Assignment

It is Ordered that the said Samuel Bennet< no role > Smith should be at Liberty
to Assign over the said Indenture of Lease for the residue of the said Term of
26 Years to the said Daniel Clarke< no role > Subject to the Rent Covenants & Provisoes
in the said Indenture of Lease contained which on the Tenants part are to be
paid done and performed

Upon Reading the Petition of James Hallett< no role > Esqr . on behalf of Thos
Hayly
< no role > a Lunatick It is Ordered that the said Thos. Hayly< no role > being
a Native of the Kingdom of Ireland be admitted a Patient in Bethlem
Hospital upon three Persons becoming Sureties by Bond to the treasurer
in the Penalty of £200 with the Usual Condition of Bonds given for
other Patients admitted into the said Hospital

Mr. Deputy Roman and Mr. Jonathan Granger< no role > two of the
governors Reported that in Pursuance of an Order of the 13th.
February last they had made an Inquiry and found That John
Saunders
< no role > who Served part of Time with Francis Croxford< no role > and the
remaining part with William Tarrant< no role > is set up for himself in
his Trade and has the Character of a Diligent & Sober Man
It is Ordered that the Clerk do pay him £10 out of Mr. Fowkes
Gift to be allowed him in his next Account

after for Mr. Fowkes Gift


Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Edwd. Fisher< no role > weaver
Settingforth that he Served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to
Henry Heatford< no role > by Indenture dated the 10th. of June 1757 and by
Order of Court of the 26th. July 1764 he was made free of this City
the 16th. October 1764 and is set up for himself in his said Trade
in Grub Street the Corner of Haberdashers Square thereby Praying
part of Mr. Fowkes Gift It is Ordered that Mr. Deputy Gamon
Mr Saml. Bates< no role > and Mr. Samuel Read< no role > or any two of them be desired
to inquire if the said Edward Fisher< no role > be set up for himself in his
said Trade and of his hopefulness therein and Report to the Court

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Richd. Morrall weaver
Setting forth that he Served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to
Wm. Keil< no role > by Indenture Dated the 27th. July 1756 and by Order
of Court of the 4th. August 1763 he was made free of this City the
17th Novr 1763 and is set up for himself in his said trade at Mrs
Popes Opposite the Hospital Gate thereby Praying part of Mr. Fowkes
Gift It is Ordered that Robt. Carr< no role > Esqr . Henry Kynaston Southouse< no role >
