Upon Reading a Report humble Comittee of this House bearing date the 13th. day of
June 1750 under the hands of Edward Holloway< no role > Esqr . Trear Mr. William Cooper< no role >
Doctor Richard Rawlinson< no role > , Mr. John Whallay< no role > Mr. Deputy John Clark< no role > , and Mr. Deputy
Richard Bayley< no role > as follows Vizt.At this Comittee the Petition of Mr. William
Cooper
< no role > of the Parish of Saint Lawrence in the Isle of Thanet in the County of Kent
Yeoman (referred by Court the 16th. May last) was read Setting forthThat the petr.
Succeeded his Uncles Roger < no role > do James Taddy< no role > in Cliffs End Farm in the Isle of Thanet Part
of the Possessions of Bethlem Hospital and now holds the same at he rent of £80 &
Ann under a Lease from the Governors which in near ongoingThat the Petn. is
willing to take a New Lease thereof with usual Covenants for 21 Years to Commence from
Michas next at the same rent of £80 P ann Payable half Yearly at the Compting house
at Bridewell Hospital and to pay a Fine of £80 and to execute a Counter Part of such
Lease and Praying the Governors to grant him a Lease AccordinglyThis Comittee
having Considered the said Proposal are of Opinion to Accept the same All which is
Nevertheless Submitted to the Judgment of the Court And It is Ordered that this
Opinion be Reported to the CourtThis Court having duly Weighed and Considered
the said Report doth Confirm the same And Order that a Lease be made to the said
