of these Hospitals And Order that a Staff be forthwith Sent to him

This Court doth Elect The Reverend Doctor Ralph Freeman< no role > to be one
of The Governors of these Hospitals And Order that a Staff be forth with
sent to him Notwithstanding the Order of Court the 29th. day of April 1748

At this Court a Motion being made and the Question putThat the future
Admission of Governors of these Hospital be taken into Consideration the
first Court after the last day of August next and that Notice be given in the
Summons to that Court that such business is intendedIt passed in the Negative.

Beadles Grar pyr. M. Nr. 1750


Upon Reading the humble Petition of the four Beadles and Potersman of
this Hospital for their usual Gratuitys of Forty Shillings a Peice in respect of the
half Year ending at Middsumer last for that their Salarys are but SmalIt is
Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay unto them Forty Shillings
a Peice to be Allowed him in his next Account

Basketmendo.


Upon Reading the humble Petition of the three Beadles or Basketmen of
the Hospital of Bethlem for their usual Gratuitys of Twenty Shillings a peice in
respect of the half Year ending at Middsumer last for that their Salarys are but
SmallIt is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitals do give and pay unto
them Twenty Shilling a peice to be Allowed him in his next Account.

Upon the humble Application of Mr. Taylor on behalf of himself & the rest of
the Officers Christmas, and Servants It is Ordered That the Steward of this
Hospital do pay the Assessment made upon this Hospital for the Window lights
for the Year ending the 25th. day of March last Amounting to £23.11.9. to be
Allowed him in his next Account.

corrected & Set to the Hempblocks by Order of Court the 16th. day of May last) & promiseing
Amendment They were Ordered to be Discharged from the Blocks and Sent home to their Masters
