Proposals of

of Wapping
Distiller
(which was referred to them
by Order of Court the 19th. day of July last) was read Setting forthThat he
proposes to take a Lease for 21 years from Mitres next of two Messuages or
Tenements Scituate on the South Side of wapping Street
near Wapping Dock
Stairs one of them in his own possion & the other Empty and to pay the Yearly rent
of Seven pounds Clear of Taxes Quarterly at the Computing house at Bridewell
Hospitall and to repair the Premisses at his own expence & to Execute a Counterpart
of Such LeaseAnd the said

being called in Agreed to take a
Lease of the said Pines (with usuall Covenants between the Governors to their
Tenants at Wapping) for Thirty one years from Michas next at the yearly rent of
£12 including Land Tax & to put the Pines into Tenantable repair at his own
Expence and to execute a Counterpart of Such LeaseThis Comittee haveing
Considered of the said last proposal are of Opinion to Accept the same upon which
the said

gave a Guinea to the Poors bar All which is nevertheless
Submitted to the Judgement of the Court And it is Ordered that is Opinion
Reported to the next CourtThis Court having duely Weighted & considered
the said Report Doth Confirm the same And order that a Lease be made to the
