of these Hospitals

Mr Deputy Wiley and Mr Peter Roberts< no role > two of the Governors of this Hospital
reporting to this Court that in pursuance of an Order of Court the 5th of May 1738
They had made Enquiry and found that Henry Constable< no role > who served his
Apprenticeship in this Hospital is set up for himself in the Trade of a
Weaver and hath the Character of a diligent and sober Man It is Ordered
that the Steward of this Hospital do give and pay unto the said Henry
Constable
< no role > Ten pounds out of Mr Locks Gift to be allowed him in his next
Account

Benefaction of £200 to
Bethlem, yet court return
thanks for ye same}


This Court desired Marmaduke Alington< no role > Esqr . one of the Govrs of these
Hopitals to return the thanks of the Court to the Lady who by his hands give the
Sum of £200 as a Benefaction to the Hospital of Bethlem in October last

Election of a Govr.}


The Court nominated and elected William Archer< no role > Esqr to be a Governor of these
Hospitals, and Ordered a Staff to be forth with sent to him

Trear to lay out Surplus
money in 3 P Cent Annuitys}


Ordered That the Treasurer of these Hospitals do from time to time lay an touch
money as shall be in his hands more than sufficient for the current Expences of
these Hospitals, in the purchase of south sea Annuitys comonly called Three P Cent
Annuitys

Vacancy of Artsman on ye
resignation of Allen page< no role >


This Court declared the Vacancy of an Artsmaster of the Hospital of
Bridewell on the resignation of Mr Allen Page< no role > made at the last Court
