Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of this House bearing date
the 26th. of May last under the hands of the Right Worshipfull Robert
Alsop

William Brent< no role > , Mr. Gilbert Malcher< no role > , Mr. Philip Searth< no role > , Mr. Robert

ViztIn Pursuance of an order of Court of the 6th. day of Mary last
This Comittee have taken into Consideration the Petition of Thomas< no role > and
Elizabeth Arnall< no role > Praying a Lease for 31 years of an House in Wapping
(No. 6) the last Lease whereof was let to Elizabeth Fell< no role > Widow and expires
at Michas next at £5. P ann Rentand also a Lease of an Additions
Term of 21 Years in another House at Wapping (No. 5) demised by the
Govrs. to Elizabeth Arnall< no role > Widow since deceased by Indre dat 28th July
1719 to hold from Michas 1715 for 31 years at 20 P ann Rent which
will expire at Michas 1746And Also the Petition of William Barker< no role >
Vintner praying a Lease for 21 years of the said House at Wapping
(No. 6) to commence from Michas next at the Rent of £5. P ann payable
Quarterly clear of Taxes and proposing to pay a Fine of £100. and to repair
the Premis at his own chargeand being severally called in to this Comittee
the said Thomas Arnall< no role > was acquainted that he should make his
proposall for the first mentioned House only Whereupon he proposed to
pay £5. P ann rent and to give a Fine of £40 for a Lease of the said
House for 21 years, and to lay out £150. in the repairs thereofand the
said William Barker< no role > adhered to the proposal in his Petition abovementioned
and being severally called in again the said Thomas Arnall< no role > agreed to
make up his fine £45 and the said William Barker< no role > being also called in
again said he could not afford to bid any thing more than what he had
proposed by his said PetitionThis Comee having considered the said
several proposals are of Opinion to accept the proposall of the said William
Barker
< no role > Whereupon he gave half a Guinea to the Poors box All which
nevertheless is submitted to the Judgment of the Courtand it is Ordered
that this Opinion be reported to the next CourtThis Court doth
confirm the said Report and order that a Lease be made to the said
William Barker< no role > accordingly

of Court of the 13th. of November lastThis Committee have taken into
consideration the Petition of Joseph Taxtum< no role > settingforthThat the Govrs of
this Hospital by Indre of Lease bearing date on or about the 9th. June 1676 grants
to John Wilson< no role > (in consideration of the Costs and Charges he had been at in
Rebuilding) Four Messnage in Wapping Street and two Messuages in Wapping
dock Street (No. 24.) for an Additional Term of 30 years to commence from
Laday 1715 being the expiration of his former Lease at £8 6 P ann Rent
That the Premes by mesne Assignments since became vesed in the said Joseph
Tantum
< no role > for the Reminder of the said Term which expires at Laday 1745
That the two Houses in Wapping dock street have been utterly consumed by the
late dreadfull fire there, and two of the Houses in Wapping Street were at the
same time all burnt excepts the fronts thereof and the other two are all
ruinous Buildings for the most part TimberThat he sustained great
loss by the said fire and proposes to lay out £800 and upwards in Rebuilding
the said six Messuagesand praying and additional Term of 40 years
