Upon Reading the humble Petition of Nathaniel Skynner< no role > and
John Morris< no role > two Engine weavers who had Served their apprentice Ships
in this hospital Setting forth That George Hooker< no role > one of the artsmar s.
has Set up Several Engine Looms in this hospital contrary to the order
of Court on his admittance, to the great prejudice of the petrs. and
praying to be heard in behalfe of themselves and the rest of that
Branch of the weaving Trade It is Ordered that it be Referred to
the Comee of this house to Examine into the allegations of the said
petition and to Report the facts to this Court.

Hemp dressers to keep
each 4.apprentices}

Mr Trear Tayler acquainting this Court That the hempdressers
have not the number of apprentices which they ought to keep and yet
refuse to take a Boy when ordered by the Comee They were Sent
for to the Court and ordered that one of em' Should forthwith take
John Thornton< no role > and ye other George Butler< no role > to be apprentice . And it
is further Ordered that the said hemp dressers do from time to
time for ye future keep four apprentices each according to the
Terms of their admission
