he could not when he wrought the Single Looms vend halfe ye Quantity of
Goods he now does nor could his apprentice earn then virtualls whereas
they ran now earn fine Shillings P week over work-acknowledges that
upon the application of Some the ye Engine weaver This Court upon his
being chosen Artsumar . Limitted him to use Single Looms only and he
accordingly did So for 3 years till he was there by impoverished and was
obliged out of meer necessity to Sett up ye Engine Looms or otherwise he
must have Starved in the hospital or quitted it to have carried on ye said
Trade in another placeThat he is very Sorry he was So remains at not
to apply to ye Court for their leave before he presumed to Sett up his
Engine Looms and be seecking ye Court to accept his most humbles S [..]
for ye Breach of their Order and that out of their wonter county and
Chariety they would permitt him to carry on his Engine Looms in ye
hospital It is Ordered that ye Consideration of ye sd petition
be referred to ye Comee of this house and that ye consideration of the
Petition of the Engine Weavers be referred back to ye Same Comme to
State ye facts upon both petitions and to Report their Opinion thereon
to this Court

Roger Gething< no role > complained of his apprentice John Langbridge< no role > who
ha served above 4. years of his time that he has all along been very
idle and Neglected his work that he has too much reason to Suspect he has
inbezzilled his goods besides his haveing Spent a great deal of Money &
refusing to give an account how he came by in and the apprentice being
present in Court and giveing no Satisfactory an [..] to ye Charge
It is Ordered that ye said John Langbridge< no role > be Set to work at ye
hempblock till father order and that it be referred to ye Committe of
this house to examine into ye matter and to report their Opinion there in
to this Court

Allen Page< no role > one of the artsmar Complained to this Court That
henry hattersley< no role > hes apprentice is no of Capacity to learn his Trade
and therefore prayed that he might be discharged from him and the
Boy being Present in Court with his Mother said he was desirsus
to be discharged from his said Master and to be a Waterman It is thereupon Ordered
by consent of both parties that ye said Henry Hattersleys Indentures of
apprenticeship be Cancelled
