Upon reading a Report dated this day under the hands of Mr. Thomas
Nicholl
< no role > and Mr Samuel Roble< no role > two of the Governor s of these hosplls.
That in pursuance of an Order of Court of the tenth day of January
Last they had made enquiry and find that Edward Fordham< no role > , Thomas
Cooper
< no role > & Herriott Hornby< no role > (who Served their apprenticeships in
this hospital) are Sett up for themselves in their respective Trades
and have the Character of diligent Sober men It is Ordered that
the Clerk of the hospital to give and pay unto the said Edward Fordham< no role >
Thomas Cooper< no role > and Herriott Hornby Ten pounds a peice out of Mr
Locks Gift

apprentices in this hospital at the nomination of the Governor s

Upon reading the humble Petition of Jno Booth Setting forth that he served
his apprenticeship to Jefferey Gillingham< no role > Pinmaker one of the artsmar . [..]

1715 Psuant to an Order of Court of the 17th. of Decemr 1714 and is Sett up for
himselfein halfe Moore alley in Bishop Gate Street and praying Some
part of Mr Locks Gift to enable him to carry on his TradeIt is Ordered
that Mr. Beacher, Mr. Depty Saml. Edwards< no role > and Mr Jno. Furnese< no role > three of ye Governor s.
of these hospitals or any two of them be desired to enquire whether
the said John Booth< no role > be sett up in his said Trade and if his hopefullness
therein and to make their Report to this Court
