Upon reading the humble petition of Joseph Moreton< no role > Setting
forth that he Served his apprenticeship to Gabriel Bestman< no role > weaver one
of the Artsmasters of this hospital and was made free of this City the
4th day of March Last P suant to an Order of Court of the 27th
of July 1716 and is sett up for himselfe in Usurs that near
Gravel Lane in Southwarke And praying Some part of Mr. Locks
Gift to enable him to carry on his TradeIt is Ordered that
Col George Meggott< no role > Mr. Samuel Rush< no role > & Lawrence Parker< no role > Esqr .
three of the Governours of thes. hospitals or any two of them be
desired to enquire whether the said Joseph Moreton< no role > be sett up
in his said Trade and of his hopefullness therein and to make their
Report to this Court

Upon reading the humble Petition of James Dennis< no role > Setting
forth that he Served his apprenticeship to Robert Bowes< no role >
Shoe maker late one of the Artsmasters of the said hospital
and was made free of this City the Second day of Octor Last
Pursuant to an Order or Court of the 13th day of September
Last and is Sett up for himselfe in his said Trade in
Goodwyns Court in St. Martins Lane in the County of
Middx and praying some part of Mr Locks Gift to enable
him to carry on his TradeIt is Ordered that John
Martyn

three of the Governours of these hospitals or any two of them
