Artsmasters
Security.


At this Court the Security proposed [..] at the last
Court by Gabriel Bestman< no role > and George Marfield< no role > for their
Artsmasters placed in the Hospitall of Bridewell was
approved of upon the Report of Mr. Aubry and Mr. Merry
(two of the Governors of these Hospitalls) who were desired
to inquire of the same And It is Ordered that for the
time to some noe Artsmaster be admitted into the said Hospll.
untill such time as his Security is approved and the bound
Sealed.

Also upon the humble Petition of Mary Frost< no role > Widow of
Robert Frost< no role > late an Artsmaster of Bridewell Hospll. Deced
praying to be Discharged of her late Husbands Apprentices
Except Steven Davis who has about 2 yeares to Serve and
that he may Serve out his time with her he having been
comersant in the said Decd'd shop and able to prove his debts
This Court doth thinke fitt and Order the same Accordingly
and that she have a months time to remove out of the said
Hospitall

Also upon the humble Petition of Francis Overs< no role > Shoemaker
to be chosen an Artmaster in the Hospitall of Bridewell
in the roome and place of the aforesaid Robert Frost< no role > It is
Ordered by this Court that the said Francis Overs be admitted
an Artsmaster accordingly and hold and enjoy the rooms and
Dwelling late in the holding of the said Robert Frost< no role > during
the pleasure of this Court on Such Security and under such
Covenants and Agreements as are usuall in such Cases
And that he give Security before munday next which is
referred to the Clerke to approve of and take And that
then the said Francis Overs Shall have the Apprentices
late of the said Robert Frost< no role > Except the Aforesaid
Stephen Davis< no role > , and William Chapman< no role > herein after menconed

Also upon the humble Petition of William Chapman< no role > (late
Apprentice to the sad Robt Frost) Setting forth that the
Terme of his Apprenticeshipp expired two yeares agoe, but
that he having been Sicke about 2 Years in the Countrey he
wanted about 3 months of his having served the same time
over agen praying therefore that the said time of about 3
months may be remitted and that he my be made in
Freeman of this Citty and the same appearing to this
Court to be time it is Ordered accordingly.
