Also upon reading the Certified of Mr. Withnall and Mr. Kiniveton (two
of the Covernors of the Hospll.) that upon Inquiry they doe find That
Richard Child< no role > (who was brought up an Apprentice in this Hospitall
with John Long< no role > weaver and since made a Freeman of this Citty by
the approbacon of this Court) is sett up for himself in his Trade
of a Fringe Weaver that he hath a Loome with all its furniture
of his own and that he hath a good report amongst his neighours
It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. Trear Baker doe give and pay
unto him Tenn pounds out of the profitts of Mr. Locks gift the better
to enable him to manage his said Trade to be allowed Mr. Trer
Mr. Trer in his next Account.

Also upon the severall humble petitions of Edward Hawkin< no role > and
William Almond< no role > Cittizens and Glover of London (who were Apprces .
to Philip Baron< no role > and Richard Swiby< no role > (two of the Arts:Masters of this
Hospll.) and served them faithfully the whole time of their respective
Apprenticeshipps and have been since made Freeman of this Citty by
the Apprebacon of this Court and Sett up for themselves (as they
alledge) neer Fleete Bridge in Fleete Street ) for some part of Mr.
Locks gift the better to enable them to carry on their said Trade
It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. Smith and Mr. Shaw (two
of the Governors of this Hospll.) be desired to Inquire of the said
Edward Hawkin< no role > and William Almond< no role > whether they be soe sett upp
for themselves in the said Trade and of their Hopefullness therein
and to make report thereof to the next Court.

Glover of London (who was brought up Apprentice (with Benjamin
Clare
< no role > (one of the Arts:Masters of the said Hospll. and since made a
Freeman of this Citty by the approbacon of this Court and who is
sett up for himself (as he alledgeth) at the Corner of Bridge Alley
in Fleet Streete) for some part of Mr. Locks gift the better to
enable him to manage his said Trade It is Ordered by this
Court that Mr. Smith and Mr. Shaw (two of the Governors. of this
Hospll.) be desired to inquire of the said Edward Kenricke< no role > whether
he be soe sett up in his said Trade and of his Hopefullness therein
and to make report thereof to the next Court.

Weaver of London (who was brought up apprentice with William
Baker
< no role > Weaver (late one of the Arts Masters of this Hospll.) and who
has heretofore receved five pounds of Mr. Locks gift) for some
further part thereof the better to enable him to carry on and
manage his said Trade It is Ordered by this Court that Mr.
Trear Baker doe give and pay unto him five pounds more of Mr.
Locks gift to be allowed Mr. Trear in his next Account.
