in the County of Middlesex Weaver taken
on Oath before me one of his Majesty's
Justice's [..] of the Peace for the said County
and Liberty this 12th. day of May 1784

This Informant on his Oath Saith that he is
one of the Head boroughs of the Parish of Saint James
Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex That on Monday
last between the Hours of three and four o'Clock
there happened a Great Riot and [..] near ye.
Hustings in Convent Garden . That he this Deponent

in Newgate active in the Riot and Disturbance
at or near the time Nicholas Passen< no role > deceased was killed
That this Informant was near to the said James

this Informant down with a large Stick and then said
Damn his Eyes he is safe we will have another
down. This Informant also saw the said
James Murray< no role > This name instance is in set 1419. This set is in the group(s): GarrowsClients . Knock down several other Constable
This Informant saith that he then went away
from the Place and made his Escape to woods
