makethwho being upon Oathandsaith that on Tuesday the fourth day of May
last at Three of the Clock in the Morning upon an Alarm of Fire being
made at the House of the prisoner Thomas Peirse< no role >
in Saint John Street
aforesaid this Informant [..] went to the said house and looked into the Shop through
a hole which had been made in one of the Shutters and saw the
Shop on Fire on the Right hand side of the Shop being the opposite
side to that where the stove or Kiln was fixed And this Informant also saith that
upon viewing the Kiln since the Fire it appears to this Informant
that the [..] Wood Work above the Kiln was not burnt or
destroyed by the Fire therein.
