Josiah, Widnell for himself saith, that about
Six O'Clock on Friday Evening last he was going
up Holborn Hill
, When the said

told him he saw
John Tate< no role >
the Prisoner now
under Examination take his HandkerchiefSays
that he missed his Handkerchief and believes that
now produced is the same he lost
And the said Thomas Barrett< no role >
for himself saith, that he was going along
Holborn Hill
on Friday Evening last, and saw
the said John Gate stoop down with his Crutch
and draw a red spotted Handkerchief out of the
Pocket of the said Josiah Windell< no role >
that he
immediately laid hold of the said John Tate< no role >
,
who then dropt the Handkerchief he look out
of Widnell's Pocket
