The Exaicon of Isabella Canupey Lodging in the Parish
of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx taken the
first Day of Novr. 1740 Who upon her Oath saith that
she is a Singlewoman & was never marryed & that abt
twenty two Years ago she was bound an Apprentice to
one Mrs. Horton in the Parish of Alhallows London
Wall in the City of London for the Term of 4 years &
this Exaiant lived with her sd. Mistress in the sd. Parish
three Years & Eight Months or thereabts. & then This
Exaiant & her sd. Mistress parted by Consent & further
saith she hath not since she left her sd. Mistress rented
Ten Pounds a Year Paid Parish Taxes lived a Yearly
hired Servt. with any Person for one Yr. or otherwise
gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to her Knowledge
or beleife & is sick & Poor & not able to maintaine herself
