The Examination of Nichs. Mountain< no role > aged about 60
Years Lodging in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in
the County of Middx taken the 14th. July 1740
Who upon his Oath saith yt. abt. Six Years ago he
lived in & Rented a House in Clare Street in the sd.
Parish of St. Clemt. Danes of the Yearly Rent of £36
Pounds for the space of 14 years or thereabouts
And this Examint. further saith yt. he hath not
since he left the sd. House Rented £10 a year Paid
Parish Taxes lived with a Person as a Yearly hired
Servt. for the space of one Year or otherwise
gained a Settlemt. in any other Place to his knowledge
or beleife That he is now Poor & Lame & not
able to maintaine himselfe
