Symonds Lodging in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in
the County of Middx Taken the 28th. Day of June
1740 Who upon her Oath saith yt. upwds. of one
Year ago she lived a Yearly hired Servt . with one
Mr. Jones in Russell Street in the Parish of St.
Paul Covent Garden in the Liberty of Westmr .
Button Seller for the Space of one Year & upwds.
at the Yearly Wages of £5 having at that time
no Child or Childn. but what has gained a Settlemt. in their own Right. And this Examint. further saith
that she hath not since that time Rented £10
a Year Paid Parish Taxes lived with any other
Person as a Yearly hired Servt. or otherwise gained
a Settlemt. in any other Place to her knowledge
or beleife that her sd. Husband Edwd. Symonds< no role >
hath been Dead about Twenty Years And being
Poor & Old is not able to maintaine herselfe
