The Examination of Elizth. Kitchin< no role > Widw . Lodging in
the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middx
Taken the 5th. Day of May 1740 Who upon her Oath
saith that her late Husband Jno. Kitchin< no role > lived in
& Rented a House of £30 a Year in Howard Street
in the sd. Parish of St. Clement Danes for the
space of three Years or thereabouts And further
upon her Oath saith that her sd. Husband never after
Rented any other House Paid Parish Taxes lived with
any Person as a Yearly hired Servt. for the space
of one Year or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in
any other Place to her knowledge or beleife
that she hath one Child (to wit) William< no role > aged
about 6 Years & being Poor is not able to
maintaine herselfe and Child
