The Examination of Ann Clements< no role > the Wife of Paul Clements< no role >
Lodging in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of
Middx taken the 5th. Day of May 1740 Who upon her Oath
saith that her said Husband served three Months the latter
part of his Apprentispp with one Wm. Watts< no role > Esqr . in Pater
Noster Row in the Parish of St. Gregory by St. Paul
London And this Examint. further upon her Oath saith
that her sd. Husband hath not since he left his said
Master Rented £10 a Year Paid Parish Taxes lived
with any person as a Yearly hired Servt. for the space
of one Year or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any
other place to her knowledge or beleife that he is
now on Board his Majestys Ship the Grantham Grafton And she
being Poor & Sick is not able to maintaine herselfe
