Referred to the
Grand Comittee

also a Certificate relating to a New Wall lately made
by him for securing of the Marsh Lands from the River
of Thames and the sd: Mr: Collyer was himselfe heard
touching the Matter of the sd: Peticon where in He
Alleadges that he hath been at very great and
uncomon Expence & Charge in the making of the
said new Wall and otherwise since he took the Lease
of the said Lands and prayed this Court would consider
the case and make him some Allowance. And this
Court being Informed by some of the Members of
the Grand Comittee that the sd: Mr: Collyer had
Comitted Wast upon the Hospitall Land by Cutting
downe of Trees and that he had not yet complyed
with severall Covenants in his Lease This Court
thereupon Ordered that the 3d: petition & certificate
be Referred to the Consideracon of the Grand
Comittee and that they View the premes and Report
the case with their Opinion upon it to this Court.

Then this Court proceeded to the Choice of
a Steward in the Room of Mr: Peter Gray< no role > deced
and ourthatWorthy Governor & Benefactor Thomas

< no role > Esqr : proposing and Recomending Mr: Henry
White
< no role > as a very till person for that purpose This
Court in a Thankfull Acknowledgement of the sd:
Mr: Guys great Liberality to this Hospitall Unanimously
Resolved that in Regard the sd. Mr: White was
something above Fifty yeares of Age they would
upon this present Eleccon of a Steward Dispence
with the Order of this Court of the Sixth of
