last Court Read & Confirmed

Steward & Porter
of the Back Gate
Dead


The Right Woppll. the president acquainted
this Court That Henry White< no role > the Steward and
Nathaniell Mills< no role > the porter of the Back Gate
of this Hospitall being lately dead This Court
was called only for the Filling up of those places

Steward & Porter
to Give Security to
performe their
Offices

And then Mr: Trear informing this Court
That the Hospitall hath severall Times suffered
for what of having Security from the Steward who
is Accomptable for considerable Sumes which he
receives from the Hospitalls Use and likewise from
other Offices and Servants who when by reason
of Age or Infirmityes they become Unserviceable
and are Discharged from their Imployments remains
a Burthen & Charge upon the Hospitall and severall
of them have been and now are cheifly maintained
at the Hospitall charge.

Whereupon tis Ordered that the
Steward and porter who shall be now chosen
and such as shall be hereafter chosen into those
places shall give such Security as the Grand
Comittee for the time being shall approve of
for their Faithfull Accompting for all Money
and all other Matters which shall come under
their charge and for such other purposes and
in such manner as the said Grand Comittee shall
think fitt and propper.
