Covenant whereupon wee thought it not late or propper to proceed further
in the said purchase

Upon The Application of Mr: Russell our Tennant of a House in
St: Thomas's Parish called the Crispiana upon a Lease which Expires at Xmas:
1717 who is Obliged by Vertue of a late Act of Parliament to Contribute to the
Charge of a New party Wall lately Erected between that House and some
New Tenements Built by Thomas Malyn< no role > Esqr : upon Ground Adjoyning and
likewise belonging to this Hospitall Wee thought it reasonable to Order in respect
of the Shortnesse of the Terme now to come in the said Russells Lease That if
he does not Agree with this Hospitall for the Renewall of the said Lease He shall
be allowed Five pounds towards the Charge of the said party Wall At the Expiracon
of the said Lease

Wee Have Agreed with Wm: Hayward< no role > our Tennant of an Old House
in Leaden Hall Street in the Parish of Sr: Andrew's Undershaft London
upon a Lease Expireing at Lady Day 1716: To Grant him a New Lease of the
same for Fifty One Yeares from that Time At the Old Yearly Rent of Five
pounds In Consideration or a Fine of Two Hundred pounds to be paid Downe
and of his Building One good and Substantiall New Brick House in the Rooms
of the said Old House within One Yeare from the makeings the sd: Agreement
according to the second Rate for Building of Houses in London

of another Old House Adjoyning to the House last above mentioned upon a Lease
expireing at the same Time at the Yearely Rent of Four pounds To grant him
a New Lease thereof for the like Terme of One and Fifty Yeares at the Expiration
of that Lease At the Yearly Rent of Five pounds In Consideration of the
like Fine of Two Hundred pounds to be paid Downe and of his building
a New Brick House in the Roome thereof within the Like Time and in
the like manner as is Agreed by the said Wm: Hayward< no role >

in St: Thomas's Parish now much out of Repaire upon a Lease Expiring
at Lady 1716: At the Rent of Two pounds Fifteen Shillings P Ann To grant
her a New Lease of the said Tenement for One and Twenty Yeares from
the Expiration of that Lease at the said Old Yearely Rent of Two pounds
fifteen Shillings payable quarterly In Consideration of Fourty Pounds Fine
and the Charges she is to be forthwith at in putting the said Tenement
into good and Sufficient Repaire

in Rent of £8 P

Wee Have with The Consent of the Executors of our Late
worthy President Sr: Robert Clayton< no role > and by the Approbation of Sr : Laton
William Child

a Decree in Chancery for that purpose laid out the remainder of the
Legacy given by him to this Hospitall in the purchases of a Groutis had
in Flee of Eight pounds P Ann Issueing out of three Houses in the Old Change
London which makes the whole Estate purchased with his Legacy £108: P

Wee have Agreed with Anne Wood< no role > our Tennant of an Old
HouseAdjoyning to Pepper Alley in ye Burrought of Southwarke
upon a Lease Expireing at Lady Day 1713: at the Rent of 12th. P Annu
To grant her a New Lease of the said Tenement for One and Twenty
Yeares from the Expiration of that Lease At the said old yearly Rent
of Twelve pounds payable Quarterly In Consideration of Eighty pounds
Fine to be paid at Midsommer Last.
