By the Comrs: for adjusting stating and clearing
of the Debt for sick and Wounded Seamen and
prisoners at Warr

There are to desire and Authorize you out of the Moneys directed by
the Right Honble. the Londs Comrs: of his Majestys Treasury on the 22d: of
July last part to pay unto Jeremiah Garrard< no role > or his Order the suche
of Four hundred and sixty pounds thirteen shillings and Four pence
being the first one Third of the Debt due for the Charge of Attendance
Medicines and Cures of the sick and Wounded Seamen sent into and
discharged out of St Thomas Hospitall dureing the late Warr according
to the Accounts adjusted and remaining by us Given under our Hands
and Seales this 17: October 1701:

Received of Jeremiah Garrard< no role > by Order of the Comissioners for
adjusting stating and clearing the Debt. for sick and Wounded Seamen
the sume of Four hundred and sixty pounds thirteen shillings and
four pence Being for one third payment of the Debt due to us for
Cure and attendance of sick and Wounded Seamen sent by the said
Comrs: into St Thomas Hospitall During the late Warr with France
According to our Accounts delivered and adjusted by the said Comr:

Wee Under written having received of Jeremiah Garrard< no role > the
sume of Four hundred and sixty pounds thirteen shillings and four
pence As appeares by our particular Receipt for the same dated
this Day do promise for ourselves Heirs and Exers: Etc. To Indempnify
and Guarand the said Jeremiah Garrard< no role > his heires Etc: from all
further Demands from and [..] person or persons whatsoever relateing to the said Debt due to the
Phystitian and Surgeons of St Thomas Hospitall Whereof the abovesaid
£460:13s:04d is one and the first one Third parts Witnesse our Hands
this 1st May 1702

Etc the sume of Four Hundred and sixty pounds thirteen shillings and
four pence being for Payment of the 2s: [..] d: part of the debt due to St.
Thomas Hospitall For Attendance Medicines and Cures of Sick
and Wounded Seamen sent by the said Comr: unto the said House
during the last Warr with France According to our Accounts Delivered
in, adjusted and remaining in the said Office Wee say received this 22d
June 1702£460:13s:4d
