Minutes of the last Generall Court were Read, And the
manner of drawing up Approved.

Minutes of last Grand Comittee Read & approved

Mr Trear acquainted the Committee, That John Barn< no role >
has been arrested and is in Custody in the Borough
Compter for the money reced by him for the Hospital
use, but not brought to Accompt being £340:15s:11d
And a Peticon from him was Read, setting forth his
miserable and poor Condicon, And his Inabillity to
pay the said money, And praying the Mercy & Compass
of the Governors towards him; And a Peticon also
from Mrs Finch his Mother (who stands Ingaged for
him to the Hospitall) with an Affidt: thereunto annexd
was Read, setting forth him Poverty & utter Incapacity to
pay the said money, And praying the favour of ye Governors:
That she may not be Ruined on Accompt of her said Son
who hath already wated all her Substance and reduced
her so low, that she cannot goeoning the Service of the
Hospitall in her Place of Cook; unlesse [..] the Governors will
please to continue her Sallary and pay the Arreares
which have been lately Stopp'd Whereupon this
Committee haveing considered the Case thought fitt to
Order, That a Bond be given by Mr Barnett & Mrs Finch
for the said money, to be paid in Three months, And that
then the said Barnett be discharged out of Custody
The Intent of takeing which Bond, is declared by this
Committee, to be That if the said Barnett or Mrs Finch
should be here after able to pay the said Debt or any part
thereof the same may be them Recovered for the use of
