Grand Comittee Morcur 11 o. June 1718

Minutes of Last Grand Comittee Read & Approved
The Report of the Sub Comittee of Severall Views made
the 7th. and 20th. of May last with their Opinion thereupon
was Read and Approved.

Mr Scott One of the persons menconed in the said
Report came to Treat for a New Lease of part of the
Great House Built by Major lane in St. Thomas's
parish now in Mr. Barrys possession, The present
Lease whereof Expires at Midsomer 1730 for 30 Years
from the End of that Lease Which will make his
Terme in both parts of the said House Equall. The
Comitte Jusisted upon a Ground Rent of £4:10s. P Ann
from Midsomer next; That Mr Scott Relinquishes his
pretence to the Peice of Ground at the Bottome of the
Ground heretofore designed for a Burying Ground
and Consents to the Stopping up the Doores made into
the Alley on the East Side of the Garden But Mr. Scott
Offered only 20s. Rent and to Relinquish the said Ground
which the Comittee Refused.

Mr Pilkington and Mr Joseph Parson< no role > came to Treat
for Lease of Taylors House in the Old Baily And
Read the Proposall of One Dorothy Ward< no role > who Offered
£35. Fine But Did not Attend

The said Joseph Parsons< no role > Agreed with the Comittee for
a Lease of the said House for 21 Years from Michas
next, at the Rent of £6 Ann [..] And to Give a Fine of
£40. and to put the House into good and Substantiall
Repaire at his own Charge, and so keepe and Leave the
saine He is to pay the Fine forthwith £10:6s: to poors Box
Mr. Blackwell undertermt. to Mr Beckingham of Two
Small Houses on the Southside of the Entrame into Sr.
Thomas's out of the Burrough for which he paid £30 [..]
Ann to Mr. Beckingham whose Loose whereof together
