After which were Read the Orders of the House
whereby the Doctr: & Surgeons are for bid to
Receive any Money or Reward for the Cure of
any patients taken into this House, andthat
they are obliged to attended three dayes in a Week vizt:
Atendays Thursday & Saturdays on the Service
of this House.

This Comittee also inspected the Recomendacon
made to the Genrll: Court by a Grand Comittee the
29th: April 1693: on behalfe of the Dr: Surgeons &
Apothecary in respect of their extraordinary
Care & Paines by reason of the Great Numbers of
Soldiers & Seaman Etc for some yeares past sent
into this House Which Matter being Referred
back to the Comittee They on the 14th: of June
1694: Ordered a Gratuinty of 20: Guineys to
Dr: Torlesse the like to the Apothecary and
15: Guineys apeice to the Surgeons, and agreed
to Received it to the Genrll: Court that the Drs:
& Surgeons should be yearly considered in case
of Extraordinary Trouble & that the Apothecary should
have £20: or £30: P ann allowed dureing the Warr.

And this Comittee finds that Severall of the
Comr: for the Sick & Wounded Soldiers & Seaman
[..] attended at a Comittee of
this House 21th: May 1696: and desired the
continuance of the Care of this House as usuall
for what Seaman should be sent lather, and gave
Assureance to Serve this Hospll: in procureing
the same Allowance for Seaman as is allowed
for Soldiers being 4d: P diem

After which this Comittee finds that a Gratuity
of £15: a peice was made to the Doctors Surgeons
& Apothecary , by order of Genrll. Court 26th. Augt:
1697: in respect of their extraordinary Services
and that they had been Assessed upon the Capitacon
Tax.
