The Comittee being informed that the Steward
Admitted into this Hospll. last Week One Arck to feild
Reckaby who was sent hither by a Warrant
under the hands of four Justices of the Peace
of the County of Surrey requiring the Steward
to Take him in, which being contrary to the
Rules & Practice of this Hospll: It is Ordered
That the Steward be Reprimanded, and be Ordered
not to Admitt any person for the time to come
contrary to the Rules & Practice of the House

A Letter to Mr: Trear from Mr: King Secretary to the
Comr: for Publick & Accompts dated the 11th. of Janry
last was read; Deu'reing ar Acct: what Seaman
were taken into & Discharged from this Hospll: in
the late Warr, and also an Accompt of what
Money has been paid to this Hospll: or any of
their Officers by the Comr: a for Sick & Wounded
Seamen in respect of the Seaman to taken into
this Hospll:

And the Comittee being accquainted by Mr: Trear
that he having attended the Secretary of the sd
Comr: for Publick Accompts & being informed that great
sumes of Money have been issued by the Comr:
for the Sick & Wounded Seamen for Medicines Cure &
Attendance but [..] Appeareing in the London Hospll: the Accompts of [..] Hospll [..]
to have been receivdd for that Service The Committee thereupon called the Physicians
Surgeoas by Apothecary of this Hospll: before
them, And upon Examination of their severall
& apart, it appeares by the Confession of Doctr:
Torlesse & Mr: Elton That Doctor: Torlesse
recd abt: halfe a yeare agoe Three hundred
Guineys from Mr: Garrand on [..] the Secretary of the
Comr: for Sick & Wounded,to by the hands of [..] one Mr: Brownjohn who retained or
