Mr. Deputy Tooley Mr. Cartwright Mr. Thomas & Mr. Cooper
with the bricklairer & Carpenter are desired to view the
ground lett to Mr. Comber in Blackman Streete & to meete
on Tuesday morning at 8. a clock at the Hospitall
for that purpose & to peruse Some workmens tills.

The General Scheeme for building a new Church in St. Thomas
parish being produced Signed by the Lord Mayor &
Bishop of Londs. according to direccon of the Act
of Parliament in that behalfe The Comittee

Agreed with James Mason< no role > & Christopher Johns< no role >
Bricklaiers to give them £70. & all the old materials on
the tast of the late Church of St. Thomas in consideracon
they cleare & carry away all rubbish & prepare
the ground to lay the foundacons of the new
intended Church & Steeple & for ye. peeres for the
piazza next the Chappell Court which wilbe
built over to enlarge the Church Viz: to dig 10.
foot & a half deep from the top of the old vault
under the late Church for the foundacon of the
Church & 13. foot deep from the foundacon of ye.

Resolved that the new Church be vaulted throughout
The Comittee is of opinion that the two old houses in the
tenure of Richd. Southern< no role > & Alice Robinson< no role > Glover or their under tenant
lying nearest the Church at the Eastend of ye. narrows
passage leading into the high Streete from the parish
Shalbe taken away being but of Small value & thereby
a faire way wilbe opened for a passage to the Vault made
under the Wards now in building So as the Same may be
lett to good advantage & the Church be better Send & all the
adjoining houses made more very.
