And they also certifie that Jno. Searle< no role > (who holds by Lease
made to Galer which is within 3 yeares of expiracon
at Mickmas 1699 a house & 8 acres of arrable & pasture
land & above 50. acres of woodland at £15. per Ann
Letts the said house & 8 acres as they are informed
at £8. per Ann & do value the Woodland at 6s. 8d. per
Acre P Ann.

And they offer it as convenient That in future Leases
of woodlands a Covenant be inserted to give notice
to the Presidt. or Trer before every fall of
under woods of such fall from time to time to the
end there be care taken for preserving timber &
trees growing to be timber left at former falls aswell
as to fee they leave Standels or Storers in that
fall according to the Statute

Resolved according to the report of ye. Sub Comittee
That it be recomended to the Generall Court That it
wilbe very or namentall & convenient That a
building like those in the Quadrangle for the lodging
of clean people be erected on the Southside of the
void ground past of the late great Wards betweene
the left of the parish Church pf St. Thomas Eastward< no role >
& the yard of Mr Balaams house Westward By meanes
whereof the Wards called Jacob Stodees< no role > & Judith
lying in the back yard but one may be made use of
for foule patients & with containe as many as now
