In the Absence of the Treasurer I beg leave to acknowledge the State
of your Letter of the 3d. inclosing a draft on R & G. Fuller & Co. for £ 118.10.
which will be placed in Course to the credit of Mr Jos. Tyrrett< no role > . &
on the other Side I have given an Acknowledgemt to him which
will answer the Purpose of a formal Receipts.

In future, if you & Mr Tyrrett will so settle it to remit has
rent payable in the Month of Dear, there will be no Necessity
for a pr [..] Application on my part: but if I do not hear from
you by the 5 Decr, I shall include that Mr Tyrrell wants a
[..] rancer, & shall proceed to execute that Office.

Your Letter of Yesterdays Date an nearing the Account of the
Manor of Pewsey for the year ending at Michmas last, & your draft
for £67.4.5 for the balance, I have duly received: I have examined
the Account & find it right, and if this Mode of Payment by draft
in your Banker (which if port dated 3 or 4 days would be safer) is adopted
in future, it will be preferable in many Respect to a Remittance Pbill.

The Treasurer has received your Letter respecting that and that
will be required for the Kennet & [..] on Canal, & I Pressure he will arch
to you in Answer Shortly. I believed he hightly approves of the Person
you recommend to be appointed Gamekeeper, as being next likely to
execute well the Office.I am &.I.B.

Mr Beevers having acknowledged theAccountReceipt of your
Remittance for the Annual Balance of Accot. it only remains
with me to say that since I had the favour of your Letter of
the 8th Inst. I have submitted it to a Grand Committee of the
Hospital who ever whith me in Opinion that it is desirable to
prevail upon the Commissrs. to exchange land for land provided
it can be done on times advantages (as expressed in your
letter of the 14 Sept. last); but in Case it is necessary to dispose
of any part [..] perfectly agree will you in then & G that [..] th
detached pure of Miss Hewitts the more desirable either to
exchange or sett, [..] as the more the Estates brot. in the [..]
from the more agreeable, The Committee having left the
Arrangement to me I have only to add that I am proceeded
from the Respectability of your Character that you will have
the Goodness to attend to the Concern & occasionally upon to me
thereon. Shall I trouble you to acqt. Mr Pike of with Pursey
that it is my Intention to depute Manner I am of Pursey
