SirLondon 14 March 1804

Some the Receipt of your favour of the 21 Uls: I have been
in hopes of seeing your as I understood from Stanton that you
were at Parndon ; the proposed Purchase of Perry's free hold
House well two Acres of land for the Woodward appear so
elegible that I certainly shall recommend is to the Committee
at seer neat Meeting & think, of any Rate that year in my
sentence to appropriate the 27A.3R. that you name to her im-
-midiate Occupancy. To get this valuable Estate under good
Management is highly descriable & the having a Man of Character
to took after the Woods etc will had much to it.Mr Farr
has introduced a respectable young Man to me of the Name of
Gurwood for my Appenal in his Successor & as a most reasonable
Gentleman has been to vouch for hurr, I think been undem
able as a Tenant. He has agreed to repair the old House
as her our expence, He reside altogether met, proposery to likth
one now occupied by Farr. He likewise entered to reserve the
Parr beloer Farrs House He set at across her favour yard so
as to enable him from his parlour Window to command
every Thing that passes about the Premises, & to make her yard
a perfect Quadrangle. This I am persuaded you well approve of
& think the whole highly advantages to the Hospital; but as it
will ever be my work to give you dear weight accompt the Tenant
under your Management, I told him those plain ment for outmetld.
to your Consideratrion. of Course he is to be allowed rough Timber as
usual & the some you see him & approprable it the better with
Season is began for then Undertakings.

I have not seen Sir W. Rawlins since your letter to him, but
apprehend there can be no Objection to Mr Kings continuous
till you can recommend a good Tenant. Ought she not to pay
some advance of rentr. If you could be at Parndon
Tuesday neat, I would endeavoent to meet you; if you week in
on Sunday addressed to wood ford, & or the same Turn to Face at
Parndon desiring him to get Gurwood in the Spot, I think it might
answer.I am etc.A C
