Barlow for his Arrear, on the right footing, & if he shall refuses
or neglects to pay than, he can not complain of the Seventy of
any Measures that may be When to enforce Payment.
You will be or good as to have the Coat works for the Year endg
at Lady day measured, & a Stitch sent up as before, with or
Certificate from the Measurer, & continue to do so in each
successive year, during the Continuance of the Leave.

I find on my Return hather that desiring my Absece
you have paid the At cenation fine & half a year rest to
the Hospital, but that Mr Andrews, who gave you the
Receipt, & had not Access to the books hair considered the Ment
as due & paid to Ladyday last, which is a Mistake, as you
well find on Reference to your former Receipt, as well as the
Curtain of the Hospital in allowery the Tenants to held half
a year in hand. I Man therefore desire you to bring or and
one Mr Andrews Receipt, & I will give you a proper on
in Exchange.I am Sir

I have the pleasure to acknowledge the Rect. of Your letter
of the 23d. Inst. every a Remittance of £650.16.7 which
when paid will be noted to your credit.

Please to request Mr Barnes Watts< no role > to give you his
Repect efficerally so that you may forward it to me, when
of Course it will be submitted to the Grand Committee, &
continue the Practicer annally.I am & A.C.

SirSt Thomas' Hospital 9 Aug 1804
During a short Absence from the Hospital the Begimory of
last Month, Mr. Farr called & paid the Steward the At ceration
fine, on assigning the lease to you, & half a year rent to
Michimas last but the Steward not having Access to the books
he gave the Receipt to Lady day last which is a Mistake Since
my Action I have waste to Mr Farr to correct the Mistake but
having heard nothing from him, I cannot till whether he has reced
my letter. Under this Circumstance I think it right to inform
you of the fact because I presence you will have a Sum of money
to pay Mr Farr for the farming Back spending, & it beter you
