The Close of 1¼ One you say lays detached which the
Canal would pass thro; & is held by Copy of Court to Miss Hewitts
& that you apprehend the whole of the said Close in Carried sayth
to be purchased by the Canal County. This Secures perfectly rea-
-sonable, as the Pieces on each side the Canal would be of letter
Value to the Hospital, Your will Cheerfore please to acquaint me
where the said Close is situate in the Map, that I may judge
thereof, & you will oblige me by poenting out the desertion of
the Canal, & the probable Advantages the Estate may desire from
it. Land worth 25. P Acre, I should hipe would be worth
30 years Purchase, & if the Mess Hewetts Interest is deducted, I
think the Hospital ought to receive at least £25 or £30 P Ann
but as the Value Maturilly depends on West Situation, as well
as the Goodness of the Soel you who are acquainted therewith
must be the but Judge. The Hospital having suitamed so
heavy a top by the Pursey Estate, it belover in to a sail
seen lives of every honourable Opportunity of Remuneration.
