In Consequence of your Letter of the 13th June, & to satisfy the
Commissioner of your District of the due Application of the Rents
& Profits of the Estate at To behalf to the Churitable Purposes of the
Hospital only, I Yesterday made an Affidavit before the Lord
Mayor of London, which is now forwarded to you to be laid before
them. I think it very probable that in order to identify the whole
of the Hospital Estate they may also require a Schedule or general
Ratirment of every Tenant of the Hospital the land or Tenements he
holds the Rent he pays (including both Coat Manis & Cottages) to
asiutain exactly what is the Hospital Estate, as well as the Rents
& Profits appaid to the Uses of the Charity. Should this be the
Case, you alone are compilent so make it out, & I should think
it might be done on the back of the Affidavit, & when then is filed
or entered by the Commissioners, I should hope it well preclud in
any Repetition of that business, if the Necessity further was tax
should unfortunately continue.

The Treasurer referr it to you discreteen to fix a term for
neating the Tenants as the half yearly Audit: The but Rate
perhaps will be to allow so much a head for cating & Ale, & if
any of them chase to go beyond it, to let them pay for what
they call for, This will be a Means of keeping orders or of dis-
cremenatery between than that are temperale & these that an
not so.
