there was no Survey at Laday 1802; but the Treasurer has
too high an Opinion of your Integrety to doubt but that in this
Instance you will [..] under the Hospital & Mr Chambers the
Miner as two in different Persons, & that Mr Chambers the
Refirce will decide according to the Evidence without favour or
Affection.

To your Question respecting Capt Barlow, I answer
that I have with to him twice & sent to him four times, without
has being seen or receiving an Answer. The Treasurer thinks
your had better with a story Letter to him at her Residence
in Yorkshire (or the Prince of Wales' Hotel, Bond Street London)
stating that if the Arrears are not paid, & the Rent regularly in
Future, you will be under the necessity of employing a person
to receive it annually upon the Estate.

I wrote to you yesterday in Answer to yours of the 30th Ul18, &
have now to acknowledge the Receipt of yours (to the Treasurer)
of the 1st Inst. enclosing a Nall on Years Browns Etc: for £200.
wheel on payment will be placed to your credit in part of £350
agreed to be paid by you for the Stock, Utermits & State of the Collery
works at the Time that you entered into Contract for a Lease
of that Undertaking I have wrote to Mr Cromwell who arrow
pully will recovered, and sent him a Copy of your letter, so that
I hope he will lose no time in completing the draft of the
lease, & sendg it for Enpopment, in order to have it ready for
the Seal with as Number of other leases that was for that
Exchange.necessary form.You letter shall be laid before the Treasurer
as soon as Irecham, & I trust that the above acknowledgement
of the Specific Purpose for wheelwhichthe Remittances made
will be clear & satisfactory to you. I am Etc.

The Agent for the Maner of Etterlay advises me that a Court
will be held there on Tuesday the 28 Rest, when it will be pleses to
nominate a Gentleman to represent the Hospital & the London
Workhouse as a Trustee for over just Estate held under that Manor
in the room of John Baker< no role > Esq deceased the late Trustee . Anteran
Object of Consequence having a good left nominated I shall be happy to
communicate walk you on the Subject & by the favour of you to call
upon me at this Place on Wednesday next at half past one octoll
pew [..] so should be convenient to you at that time to take the
same into our consideration. I have [..] to be Etc.AC
