Books of ye. Hospitall yt. ye Estate be taken up on
his Life, I should hope no Power of Attorney is want,
But if there should, you will be pleas'd to inform me
wt. kind of one is necessary, if from Mr Ironside to
any one to be admitted for him & on his Behalfe, or
from ye Hospitall; tho if any from ye latter is wanting
I fear it can hardly be procured in Time. As to every
thing else necessary on our part, Mr York has full In:
:structions, & will attend ye. Court. Pray let yor. answer
be Directed to me; who am Etc

I am directed by the Treasurer of St. Thos. Hospl.
to acquaint you that there is One year & half Rent due
to the Hospital at Midsr. 1738 at £5..10.. P Ann for your
House Etc: near St Thos s. Churchyard, which Rent, tho'
often demanded, has been neglected to be paid by you;
if you do not forthwith satisfy, the said Rent to the
Hospital, I shall have Orders to take the proper
Methods to recover the same by Law, without any
further Notice to be given you
